Dezenvolve Agricultura Comunitaria (DAC) project is a USAID funded
project implemented by DAI. DAC works to strengthen the horticulture
value chain in Timor-Leste. DAC requires a 3 month consultancy to
assist with a research and training activity focused on onion
production. The consultant will be responsible for overseeing the
implementation of trial plots in three Districts, supervising 3 field
staff, developing training materials and assisting with training
delivery, and completing data collection, analysis and reporting.
Position is based in Dili with regular travel to Districts Bobonaro and
Ainaro. Minimum requirements for the position include: Bachelor
degree in agronomy or related field; 3-5 years experience providing
agriculture technical assistance; experience with agriculture trials,
data collection and analysis; proficient in English and
